Current prices and availability are always available in real time through the booking system. New clients the base price is $100 for services & $125 for chemical services. Submit the 50% deposit for the base price & I'll notify you of the balance if your service costs more.

■ How prices worked until 12-31-22
Prices at Dawn Michelle's Salon worked off of a teir system. Whatever your price is on the day you were serviced remains your price. So for example if you came to me & paid $75 for a relaxer 6 years ago, that will be your price when you return. Prices increased according to the market rate but were only applicable to newly acquired clients.
Regardless of the system, We always determined proces based on specific things. Watch the 60 second video below.
■ When we started phasing out the old system
This system began being phased out in 2020. After the Covid-19 pandemic, the Salon suffered a severe economic loss since we were closed for 3 months. Clients were scared to come back due to safety concerns. In the mean time, my "ride or die" clients carried the salon through 2020. Once clients began returning a new policy was in place. If you've been absent for over 12 months since your last service, the new market rate is your rate.

■ Prices for NEW clients starting 2023
Beginning on January 1st 2023 . The market rate will be $100/hour for new & absent clients. Additional fees for products & supplies will also be added. Regardless of how often the price increases moving forward, the new & absent clients will have their prices increase as well. All REGULAR clients who started before 12-31-22 will remain on the old teir system.

■ No show & cancelation fees
Regardless of the teir that you came in on, no show fees are applicable. There are many reasons why I've had to implement no show fees. Click here to view the video regarding my verbal explanation. In general you normally have a grace period to cancel prior to your appointment. No show and cancellation fees are generally collected with the deposit.
In order to receive a deposit back, you must abide by the cancelation policies. Examples of invalid excuses:
●"I thought I canceled"
●"I forgot"
●"I never made an appointment"
●"I don't remember booking that appointment "
●"I canceled" (& you don't have a cancelation email)
●"I replied to the (no-reply) reminder text"
●"I didn't know how to cancel " (tutorial here)
●"I thought it was for next week"
■ Deposits
For clients who began Services during tier 3 through 6, this is when I began to charge deposits. Click here for a video explanation as to why deposits are charged. For Tears 3 & 4 the general rule was that once you started coming on a regular basis then you no longer had to pay the deposit. However due to unforeseen circumstances this policy had to change.
I had a number of clients call to book appointments and still didn't show although they had come multiple times previously with no incident . I've even had clients pull scams and pretend as though they never had their hair done to get reversal of funds. Below is the video of that incident
Beginning January of 2022 we officially made the policy that regardless of whether or not you come on a regular basis, all new clients had to pay a deposit each and every time they make an appointment at Dawn Michelle's Salon.
All of my regular clients that are tier one and two clients usually do not have to pay a deposit unless I have specifically told them that they have to pay a deposit. Most of the time this has to do with multiple no shows Etc.
