I want to first say that this movie was way better than I expected. I only watched it because I was searching for something to watch at the salon while clients were there. I only looked up because my client pointed out a love scene between Whitney & Robyn.

I was mesmerized by the scenes highlighting her drug use. She was human & too often people put high expectations on celebrities when it comes to their triggers. I believe we all have triggers. And just like we all have unique triggers, we all deal with them uniquely. Some of us have healthy coping skills like writing, hobbies, etc. Some of is have unhealthy ones like overeating, drugs, sex compulsions(infidelity) , lying etc. Perhaps what mesmerized me was how it related to my food disorder.
The 1st one to label it a disorder was my husband in 2020. I knew I had to do something because I knew a trigger was coming (My dad's death). I did pretty well initially until another trigger happened 4 months in.
