Are robots taking over businesses?

Well, speaking for myself.....yes. If I can get tasks done through technological means then I'd rather do that. I use online booking for example. Why is that?

● Clients lie about appointment times

● It's cheaper than paying someone on payroll

● I don't have to worry about the computer getting an attitude.

● The system runs 24/7. I can get payments & bookings while I sleep.

I talked about this on a podcast episode. Click here to listen.

Robots are here to stay as it appears. Robots are more efficient than a lot of people . Also, another thing to keep in mind is that many people don't want to interact with you. After the pandemic, I've come to realize many clients would rather book online. Some people get anxious talking to others on the phone and prefer just booking online.

During the pandemic we saw how robots replaced humans in the food industry. Workers were so scarce that many restaurants had to shut down. I remember when I saw the robotic waiter deliver food to a table I was amazed. I remember thinking "At least the robot won't have an attitude ". It also saves the business money.

This was an innovative way for that business owner to stay open while simultaneously assisting his faithful human employees. Otherwise, the employees who were still there may have quit due to being overworked.
