About a year ago I started realizing how different foods have different effects on our bodies. It is the job of our government to list what chemicals are in the food, but the side effects are an entirely different issue.
It was so overwhelming to 1st recognize that process takes time. But for our family, to start the process by cooking from scratch more has been quite a challenge. For example, if we want donuts I'll try to make them from scratch. In reality there are countless things that can interfere with making things from scratch (ex. Your energy level).
The fascinating part about this process is that by making as much as possible by scratch, my energy skyrockets .
