One thing that you have to understand about business owners is that they are people too. When prices increase in society, business owners experience this increase as well. So while you are shocked when you go to the grocery store as a consumer, we are at the exact same grocery store just as shocked. It is not personal when prices have to increase in a business.

Speaking for myself, there have been moments where I have tried my hardest to not increase prices, but truth be told it's almost inevitable. There are many small business owners who are not rich and are middle class. It is important for you as a consumer to keep that in mind before the thought crosses your mind to talk a business owner out of their prices. We have a right to charge what we want to charge especially if it is worth what we're charging. More than likely we are fully aware of our competition.
